Vintage bomb found in Intramuros

A vintage mortar bomb was recovered from a portion of the road which is undergoing repair in Intramuros, Manila on Friday afternoon, July 14. Police said they were informed by a construction operator that a mortar bomb was discovered in front of a bank at the corner Muralla and Anda Streets in Intramuros around 4 p.m. The personnel of the Manila Police District (MPD) Intramuros Police Community Precinct (PCP) immediately went to the location and called the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) after verifying the report. The bomb was brought to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) EOD for proper safekeeping.
