Sandara Park's brother, Thunder, ex-Gugudan member Mimi reveal their relationship

Thunder, a former member of K-pop boy band MBLAQ, and Mimi, a former member of girl group Gugudan, have announced that they are in a relationship and want to spend the rest of their lives together.  He is the brother of former 2NE1 member Sandara Park, who released her debut Korean album on July 12.  Thunder and Mimi are in a relationship (Instagram)
Thunder (born Park Sang-hyun) and Mimi wrote letters to announce their relationship after a preview of the Korean TV show “Second House 2” was released on July 14.  In the preview, they admitted that they have been in a romantic relationship for four years.  After the preview aired, the two took to Instagram and made the announcement and stated that they want to spend the rest of their lives together.   Siblings Sandara Park and Thunder at the wedding of actress Lee Da-hae and singer Se7en in May (Instagram)

In his letter, Thunder said, “Through ‘Second House,’ I have revealed my relationship with Mimi. At first, I was worried and lacked courage but I mustered up the courage for the person I want to be with for the rest of my life.” “You calmly support me who is always lacking and anxious. For Mimi, who warmly understands and protects me, I will take responsibility and show her how to live happily. Thank you so much for your support and I would like to express my gratitude to the fans who have loved me until now. I will continue to show a good image as an artist who is passionate about music,” he added.  “P.S, Mimi, who became my reason for living.. I love you and thank you,” he said.  Thunder debuted in MBLAQ in 2009 and left the group in 2014.  In 2017, Dara and Thunder starred in the tvN Asia travel-food show “One Night Food Trip-International Edition” and filmed in the Philippines.  In her letter, Mimi said, “I wanted to greet you first, but the news was delivered through a broadcast. I think the fans must have been very surprised by the sudden news, so I am writing a handwritten letter with all my heart.” “I have someone I want to be with for the rest of my life. He is a person who always stands by my side during the time we are together, gives me a lot of strength even in difficult times, and guides me to grow further,” she said.  She added, “We would appreciate it if you could support our future with a warm gaze! I hope you are always healthy and full of good things.”  Mimi debuted in Gugudan in 2016. The group disbanded in 2020.
