BATANGAS CITY – Police nabbed three suspected drug pushers and seized shabu worth P510,000 in a buy-bust operation on Friday, July 14, in Barangay Libjo here.
Batangas police director Police Col. Samson Belmonte, in a report to Police Regional Office 4-A director Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces, identified the suspects as John Paulo Reyes, Eligio Mauhay, and Royland Manalo.
Belmonte said Reyes and Mauhay were high-value individuals and Manalo was a street-level individual. They were listed on the drug watch of the police here.
The suspects were arrested after they sold shabu worth P100,000 to a police poseur-buyer.
They also yielded three cellular phones, P300 cash, and a car.
Suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
