A 4.1-magnitude earthquake jolted Davao Oriental on Friday night, July 14, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs)Â said.Â

Phivolcs stated that the quake was monitored 54 kilometers (km) southeast of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, at 10:04 p.m. In the bulletin released by Phivolcs, the tectonic-origin quake has a depth of focus of 48 km. It said the tremor was felt Intensity I in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; Malungon, Sarangani. Phivolcs said that there are no damage and aftershocks to expect due to this tremor.Â
