BACOLOD CITY – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is once again vying for the Best City Police Office citation in the country.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo “Albee” Benitez, along with Abang-Lingkod party-list Rep. Stephen Paduano, graced the validation and evaluation of the BCPO at its headquarters on Wednesday, July 12.
The validation team conducted assessment on BCPO's achievements, operations, and simulation exercises which served as the foundation for determining the results.

The evaluation presents an opportunity for the BCPO to showcase its remarkable accomplishments and dedication to public service. Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas chief, said the BCPO also competed last year but fell short in winning the title. Despite this, Villaflor said that the BCPO has a good performance. The results will be announced during the Police Service Anniversary on Aug. 8.
