'Nagkatotoo nga!': Jackpot winner fulfills 'promise' to PCSO
One of two winners of Super Lotto 6/49 revealed his promise to Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) treasurer before winning the jackpot on June 11.

“Nagkatotoo nga (It became real),” said one of the winners of the Super Lotto in an interview conducted by the PCSO as he reminisced about the promise he threw to the PCSO treasurer after claiming second place and various lotto games prizes before. “Lagi ko sinasabi sa mga treasurer ng PCSO na babalik ako one day, yung jackpot naman ang aking babalikan (I'm always saying to the treasurer of the PCSO that on my return one day, it is for the jackpot),” he said. The winner, from Makati, also revealed that he has been playing the lotto since 1995 and has experienced winning various lotto games except the jackpot from major draws.
The other Super Lotto winner shared that the winning numbers were random digits to have an entry for the upcoming Lotto draw.

“Sabi ko sa asawa ko na kahit anung numero na lang basta ihabol mo (I told my husband, pick any number just to have an entry for the upcoming lotto draw),” she said to the PCSO. “Tapos tumama pa pala kami ng jackpot (then it appeared to be the winning numbers for the jackpot),” she added. The winner, who is from Caloocan, shared her plans for the prize, which is “to buy a permanent home and build a business.“
Posted on its social media account, PCSO shared some snapped photos of PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles, personally giving the prize to the winners on June 14 at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City. The two winners correctly guessed the 18-29-21-48-10-08 Super Lotto winning digit combination and shared the grand prize worth P15,840,000.
