Motorists and commuters were stuck for hours in traffic along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on Thursday, July 13, as heavy rains flooded portions of the road particularly the Bicutan area.
An advisory issued by SLEX-MaTES as of 8:27 a.m., which operates SLEX, stated that the tail-end of the northbound traffic from Alabang viaduct in Muntinlupa is 15.6 km. while the southbound portion is 1.8 km.

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon was one of those who got stuck in traffic early morning on July 13 and said the SLEX Bicutan area is flooded.
“To those going to/ from the South, be advised SLEX is flooded at Bicutan area. When I entered northbound at Filinvest Alabang, I was met by this stand still, bumper to bumper situation. An FB friend posted he left QC at 4:00am & at 6:00am he was also in same situation in Magallanes,” he posted on Twitter.
