A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Cagayan on Friday, July 14, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Phivolcs said the quake was recorded 22 kilometers (km) northwest of Dalupiri Island, Calayan, Cagayan, at 6:26 a.m. In the bulletin released by Phivolcs, the tectonic-origin quake has a depth of focus of 16 km.
