Lady drug pusher in Laguna yields P340,000 shabu


CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna – A lady drug pusher was arrested and suspected shabu worth P340,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday morning, July 11, in Sitio Huwaran, Barangay Pagsawitan, Santa Cruz, this province.

Police Col. Harold Depositar, Laguna police chief, in a report to Police Regional Office 4-A (Calabarzon) Director Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces, identified the suspect as “Sarah,” a resident of Pagsanjan town, this province, and tagged as a high-value individual (HVI).

The Santa Cruz Municipal Police Station said Sarah was apprehended at around 8:30 a.m. after she sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

Sarah yielded two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 50 grams worth P340,000, a coin purse with P200, and the buy-bust money and these will be submitted to the Crime Laboratory for forensic examination.

The is under the custody of the Santa Cruz Police Station while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) will be filed against her.

"We will insist even more on the conduct of police operations for the arrest of those who do illegal activities in the province of Laguna, we desire the orderly and peaceful province of Laguna so we will work hard and improve our service to the people,” Depositar said.
