HEIs such as Mapua University, Makati campuses, and Colegio de San Juan de Letrán confirmed to their social media accounts the suspension of classes on their campuses effective at 4 p.m. The announcement is due to inclement weather in light of the continuous rain and the potential challenges it may pose for commuting. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Metro Manila is included in the areas that could experience heavy rainfall on July 13. PAGASA added that under these circumstances, floods and rain-induced landslides are possible in high-risk locations. *(Rhowen Del Rosario)* Read: [https://mb.com.ph/2023/7/13/lpa-may-become-tropical-depression-dodong-within-48-hours-pagasa](https://mb.com.ph/2023/7/13/lpa-may-become-tropical-depression-dodong-within-48-hours-pagasa)
