SARIAYA, Quezon – A 28-year-old farmhand was stabbed dead by his co-worker while resting in his tent in a rice field in Barangay Guis-Guis San Roque, this town, on Wednesday afternoon, July 12.
Police identified the victim as Romar dela Peña, a resident of Barangay Santa Catalina Sur, Candelaria, Quezon.
He died on the spot due to stab wounds.
The suspect Richard Cardenas, alias “Burdado,” fled.
Police are eyeing work dispute as motive in the killing.
