Drug pusher nabbed with P115,000 shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – A 45-year-old drug pusher is back in jail after he was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Riverside, Barangay Bata here on Thursday, July 13. Police identified the suspect as Hansel Magbanua, 45, of Barangay 2, this city. Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) seized 17 grams of suspected shabu worth P115,600 from the suspect who is a street-level individual. Police Capt. Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said the suspect was arrested for drug pushing in 2016 when the drug war started. He was convicted and released from jail three years later after serving his sentence. However, Magbanua returned to his illegal activity, prompting police to monitor him. Magbanua yielded the P1,000 marked money and P200. He is detained at Police Station 3.
