* Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Kamuning Station (PS 10) confiscated P3.5 million worth of “shabu” and arrested three suspects in two separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City on Wednesday, July 12. The PS 10 identified the first suspect as Christopher Laguras Adao, 44, who was arrested in his residence on Laura St. in Ramos Compound, Barangay Matandang Balara, Quezon City at around 10 a.m. The buy-bust operation was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit Agency (PDEA) after a concerned citizen tipped off the drug peddling activity of the suspect. A police officer posed as a buyer and successfully bought P55,000 worth of "shabu'' from Adao.

Confiscated from the suspect were around 475 grams of shabu with a street value of P3,570,000, a unit of cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
In the second buy-bust operation, police nabbed Christopher Inay Laviña, 38, of Sampaloc, Manila, and Rocky Duro Denoso, 34, of Tondo, Manila.
According to the police, suspects were arrested around 10 a.m. on Sct. Santiago St. in Barangay Obrero, Quezon City.
Operatives confiscated from the suspects one gram of shabu worth P6,800, two cellular phones, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects are currently under police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 1965 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002.
