CAAP commends honest employee at Bacolod-Silay airport

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has commended one of its employees at the Bacolod-Silay Airport for returning a wallet containing P25,000 worth of cash in peso and US dollar denominations. Bacolod-Silay Airport Acting Manager Roel Q. Aranzado said Rick John D. Conlu found the wallet while clean ing at the waiting area of the airport. Conlu then turned over the wallet to the airport officer on duty, who in turn, helped find the owner identified as Alexander Arnaiz Cadanay. "Such act contribute to fostering a trustworthy and safe environment for the airport’s passengers and visitors," said Aranzado in commending Conlu.
