"Eat Bulaga" is celebrating its 44th year come July 29.
Show producer TAPE Inc. is already planning to make a big shindig of it.
Former Senator Tito Sotto deems it absurd.
He said, “Kami orig na may karapatan mag-celebrate. From TAPE people and current hosts, none of them were there 44 years ago.”
He then revealed his plan to celebrate the date in "E.A.T.," their new show on TV5, insisting they have all the rights to do so.
“Ano itatapat nila e wala naman sila doon in the last 43 years? February lang pumasok mga new officers then June ito mga bagitong hosts,” he said.
Meanwhile, Joey de Leon is now viral on social media.
A clip of him seemingly berating the new "Eat Bulaga" as fake has caught the attention of netizens.
He said, “Kami ang legit. Yung mga alam n’yo na, peke...baligtarin n’yo yung legit.. tigel na kayo...”
