The one-year agreement, which was signed on June 28 aims to further solidify both organizations' commitment to working together through technical assistance, policy development, and advocacy. It also aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the participants in areas connected to Gender and Development (GAD) and to address concerns about the administration and use of gender analysis tools. Moreover, it is seen to contribute to advancing gender-responsive planning and budgeting and foster an understanding of gender mainstreaming as a strategy for achieving gender-responsive local governance. As a result of the partnership, PCW and RGADC co-organized the leveling session on Basic GAD Concepts, Sexual Orientations, Gender Identity, Gender Expressions, and Sex Characteristics, Gender Mainstreaming, Gender Analysis Tools, and Local GAD Planning and Budgeting. Representatives from the RGADC V's Regional Line Agencies, State Universities and Colleges, Local Government Units, and civil society organizations were present at the event. *(Rhowen Del Rosario)*
