P4.5-M marijuana seized, 2 suspects nabbed in Bacoor

CAVITE – The Drug Enforcement Unit of Bacoor City Police Station (CPS) arrested two high-value individuals in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City early Wednesday morning, July 12. Dueñas was reportedly caught in the act of selling a tape-sealed plastic package containing suspected dried marijuana leaves. Operatives seized more packages of suspected marijuana from Dueñas and Bautista with a total weight of more or less 38 kilograms and an estimated street value of P4,560,000. Dueñas and Bautista are now under the custody of the Bacoor CPS and are facing drug charges. The pieces of evidence, on the other hand, will be turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
