Navotas LGU to build Super Health Center, Bahay Kalinga

The local goverment of Navotas City on Wednesday, July 12, announced that it will soon build a super health center and a Bahay Kalinga in Barangay NBBS Kaunlaran that will help in the delivery of health services to city residents.
According to the city government, residents can avail of laboratory, dental, birthing, and other health services from the super health center.
The Bahay Kalinga will serve as a temporary home for abandoned elderly and women or children who are survivors of abuse.
The features and other facilities that will be seen inside the buildings have yet to be announced.

On Monday, July 10, Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco and National Housing Authority General Manager Joeben Tai signed the deed of donation and acceptance for the national agency’s donation of 728 square meters lot on Ayungin Street where the facilities will be established. “Amid our limited resources, especially in terms of land, we will always find ways to cater to the needs of every Navoteño and promote their well-being,” Tiangco said. “Isa lamang ito sa mga hakbang na ating ginagaw sa tuloy-tuloy nating pag-aasikaso para mapataas pa ang antas ng pangangalaga sa kausugan at kapakanan ng bawat Navoteno (This is just one of the steps we have taken in our bid to improve the health and welfare of every Navoteno),” he added.
