LIPA CITY, Batangas – A 31-year-old construction worker was allegedly stabbed to death by two brothers after he challenged them to a fistfight in Barangay Bugtong na Pulo, this city, on Tuesday morning, July 11.
Police identified the victim as Lambert Agsaoay of Barangay Santo Niño, Biñan City, Laguna.
Investigation said Agsaoay saw the suspects – Charly Belino, 29, and Fernando Belino, both laborers and residents of Barangay Langoyon, Calbayog City, Samar – and challenged them to a fistfight.
But the suspects drew a kitchen knife and chased the victim and stabbed him nine times in the body when they caught up with him.
The victim was taken to the Metro Lipa Hospital here where he died.
Suspects fled and are now the subject of a police manhunt.
