Family, celebs mark Dolphy's 11th death anniversary


Veteran singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla took to social media to remember the late Comedy King, Dolphy, on his 11th death anniversary on July 10.

On Instagram, she uploaded photos of her visiting his tomb.

She wrote: "Today is the 11th death anniversary of Dolphy. Please say a little prayer for him."

Dolphy's son, Eric Quizon commented on it, writing: "the beautiful flower arrangement as always. thanks @zsazsapadilla!"

Eric also marked his father's death anniversary, posting online an old photo of them.

He said: "You are remembered everyday, especially today. it has been eleven years. #july10 #11th."

Actress G Töngi commented on it, saying: "Remembering your Dad today too and his tremendous legacy he left in the world @eric_quizon."

Meanwhile, celebrities like Teresa Loyzaga, Ara Mina, and Candy Pangilinan left some heart and folded hands emojis in the comments section.

Dolphy's son Vandolph, on the other hand, also shared his feelings online, reiterating how he misses him.

On Instagram, he uploaded a group picture of the "Home Along Da Riles" cast and crew.

"Nostalgic. Home Along Fam…ABANGAN. bring back the true Pinoy Family Values. we Mis you Tatay Kevin," his caption read.

In the show, Dolphy is Tatay Kevin, a widower living near the railroad tracks with his children.

Recently, the cast of the old show reunited.

Attendees were Vandolph, Boy 2 Quizon, Claudine Barretto, Gio Alvarez, and Maybelyn dela Cruz.
