The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 285 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, July 12.
The total number of active cases decreased to 6,132 from July 11's 6,152, and the nationwide caseload is now at 4,168,722.
DOH also reported that the number of recoveries is now at 4,096,091, with a death toll of 66,499.
According to the DOH, the National Capital Region has reported the highest number of new cases in the past two weeks (June 28 to July 12), with a total of 1,003 cases
It was followed by Central Luzon with 726 and Calabarzon with 565.
The top three areas where the highest number of new cases in the same period were recorded are Quezon City with 255, Iloilo with 183, and Cavite with 176.
