College student yields P204,000 shabu in Silay City buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – Police seized 30 grams of suspected shabu worth P204,000 from a 21-year-old college student in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, July 11.

The suspect was a street-level individual of  the Silay City Police Station. Police said they received reports about his alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade. He was placed under monitoring for a few weeks to verify the reports. Police confirmed the reports and an operation was launched leading to the suspect's apprehension. Suspect yielded the P3,800 marked money and other non-drug items.
