Wilcon Depot 3x3 on the cusp of breaking through

Head coach Anton Altamirano believes that the wheels are turning for the guest team with positives seen all around. "Mas maganda na yung pinapakita ng team. It also didn't help that the luck of the draw went against Wilcon Depot as it dropped to the third seed in Pool B even though it won two of its three games in the group phase a day prior. The team beat NorthPort, 21-15, and San Miguel, 17-14, but its earlier 18-12 loss to Pioneer proved to be costly, thus the unfavorable placing in the quarterfinals. Nonetheless, Altamirano has high hopes moving forward. "Ang importante sa amin lumalaban yung team at nakikita naman na konti na lang, pwede na tayong makasabay doon sa mga nangunguna this conference," he said.
