THE COLLAB YOU NEVER EXPECTED! 'It's Showtime' debuts on GMA's GTV featuring Kapuso stars


History has been made.

Former rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA got together to serve both Kapuso and Kapamilya viewers with "It's Showtime" making its debut on GTV, Saturday.

The opening production was star-studded, with artists from both networks joining the show's hosts Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Amy Perez, Ion Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, Lassy Marquez, and MC Calaquian.

Kapuso brothers Rodjun and Rayver Cruz danced with Vhong and Jhong.

Amy, meanwhile, was accompanied by Kapamilya star Jolina Magdangal and now Sparkle artist Pokwang on stage.

Then Kapuso singer Mark Bautista and ABS-CBN star Erik Santos sang together with Jugs and Teddy.

Kim, on the other hand, danced with GMA's Barbie Forteza and ABS-CBN's Alexa Ilacad and Belle Mariano.

Kapuso star Sanya Lopez, on the other hand, performed with Jackie and former "It's Showtime" GirlTrends member Chie Filomeno.

Vice's production number was the highlight of the episode, with the latter flying via helicopter to GMA,going on to sing and dance within the network's compound.

Later, Kapuso singers Mark and Christian Bautista also joined the Kapamilya "hurados" during the Grand Finals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan: Duets."

Then, the cast of "Unbreak My Heart," the historical collaboration between GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Viu Philippines also promoted their show on "It's Showtime," with Kapuso stars Gabbi Garcia and Richard Yap greeting their fans along with Kapamilya talents Joshua Garcia and Jodi Sta. Maria.
