Mega job fair for LGBTQ, seniors, PWDs held in Muntinlupa
The Muntinlupa City government recently held a Mega Job Fair at the Festival Mall in Alabang for various sectors of society.
Included in the job fair were the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) community, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and senior citizens.

"We are an inclusive city, and we will strive to provide opportunities for everyone to work and make their life better," said Mayor Ruffy Biazon. The job fair had a total of 930 registrants vying for jobs offered by 91 participating companies. A total of 136 applicants were hired on the spot, with 533 scheduled for further interviews in the respective offices. In addition, 78 youth qualified as beneficiaries for the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES). Under SPES, they will be working in various departments of the city government for 20 days. Visitors to the job fair also attended a forum on LGBTQ, seniors, and PWDs in relation to the United Nations Social Development Goals (UNSDG). The Mega Job Fair was organized by the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in coordination with non-government agencies, Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). It is also sponsored by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-National Capital Region (PCCI NCR), Rotary International, Festival Mall, and Diversity & Pride@Work.
