On June 19, Jins marked its fifth anniversary in the Philippines. Unveiling its first ever brand ambassador, renowned broadcaster and journalist Rico Hizon, Jins Philippines threw a cocktail get-together for distinguished executives from Jins, who flew in from Tokyo, and from Suyen Corporation, as well as a diverse mix of personalities from related industries. A Japanese eyewear brand recognized for its stylistic features, functional aspects, and innovative technology, Jins Philippines highlighted its significant milestones and accomplishments as one of the fastest growing brands in the industry.

Introduced as Jins’ first ever brand ambassador, Hizon revealed he had been a user of Jins eyewear for over two years. He recalled that a trip with his wife to Shibuya five years prior was when he first discovered the Japanese eyewear brand. When approached to become the brand ambassador, he thus accepted “with no hesitation.” As a representative of the values and spirit of Jins Philippines, he acknowledged Jins as an ethical company maintaining good corporate social responsibility and care for the environment.
