The Cargo Movers joined the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the 2-0 win-loss column in Pool B.

Dy led all scorers with 23 points on 20 attacks and three blocks, while Ivy Lacsina had 13 points.

After pulling away late in the opening set, F2 Logistics found itself in a tight spot after a determined fightback from Cignal in the second set.

The Cargo Movers held an early lead against the HD Spikers before they put the match in its first deadlock of 11-all.

The exchanges got pretty loaded up by both teams as the second set went on to be tied 12 more times before F2 Logistics prevailed and eventually took the commanding 2-0 set lead.

However, Cignal remained aggressive and led throughout the third set as Ces Molina delivered back-to-back blows to extend the match.

The fourth set was no different as the Cargo Movers couldn’t get the HD Spikers off their backs for most of the set, but managed to pull away for good in the endgame to put the match to rest.

Molina and Rachel Daquis paced the HD Spikers with 21 and 13 points, respectively, in the losing effort.

Cignal, meanwhile, absorbed a 1-1 slate in the standings.
