DOH logs 319 new Covid-19 cases on July 1

The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 319 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, July 1. The number of active cases is now at 6,945, leading to a total of 4,165,076 cases nationwide since the pandemic began. The health department also advised that the number of recoveries climbed to 4,091,647 with no new deaths. Meanwhile, the bed capacity is at 16.4 percent, or 4,053 occupied and 20,659 vacant as of June 30. In previous interviews, DOH Secretary Teodoro "Ted" Herbosa reminded the public to remain vigilant against the virus and keep their vaccination status up to date.
