New wave music, which became popular in the 1980s, will be celebrated in the Philippines through a show set in November.
DMC Philippines will hold the “New Wave Invasion” on Nov. 25, 6 p.m. to midnight, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The event is dubbed as the biggest 80s concert party of the year as it will combine a star-studded line-up of New Wave stars.
“New Wave Invasion” will feature A Flock of Seagulls, Frank Kearns of Cactus World News, Peter Coyle of The Lotus Eaters and Steve Kilbey of The Church,” who are all New Wave icons in their own right.
Joining them in the party are Orange & Lemons, Innervoices and Violent Playground.
