READ: Here's how to apply for STEM scholarship

Gokongwei Brothers Foundation just announced that application is now open

Good news, students who are looking for scholarship grants. The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) has announced that it is seeking 60 STEM Scholarships. Under the GBF-Gokongwei Group's STEM Scholarship for Excellence program, 60 outstanding science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students will be given college education scholarship grants. Grantees will receive fixed annual financial grants to subsidize tuition and other fees, access to scholar development programs, internship opportunities in the Gokongwei Group, and Employment opportunities in the Gokongwei Group. To qualify, a student should have an outstanding academic record with a general weighted average not lower than 85 percent, belong to the top 10 percent of their senior high school batch, is active in extra-curricular activities, and has an excellent moral character record. Over the last 30 years, GBF has become one of the country’s largest private-sector providers of STEM scholarships. In 2022 alone, GBF supported over 700 scholars and educators under various programs.
