Quezon town sees further progress after insurgency free declaration
SARIAYA, Quezon – Mayor Marcelo Gayeta here expressed optimism on Friday, June 9, that this town will gain further progress from its insurgency free status.

Gayeta, head of the Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the police and military formalizing the declaration at the Sangguniang Bayan session hall. Sariaya was the last town in this province composed of 39 towns and two cities declared free of communist guerrillas.
