Police arrested a man for violation of the Anti-Fencing Law after he allegedly tried to sell a stolen motorcycle online in Quezon City, on Friday, June 9.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) identified the suspect as Fahad Macalandap, 25, of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
QCPD said that the victim, Jose Mirando, discovered that his motorcycle parked inside their garage in Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City, was missing at around 6 a.m. on May 28.
The victim then saw the motorcycle posted for sale on Facebook MarketPlace at 4:00 p.m. of June 8.

Mirando immediately reported the incident to PS 4 operatives.
The QCPD said that the victim acted as a buyer and had a successful transaction with the suspect.
The two agreed to meet at a gasoline station on Susano Road in Barangay San Agustine, Novaliches, Quezon City at around 10 p.m. on the said day.
Operatives of PS 4 arrested the suspect after the victim positively identified his motorcycle.
Recovered from the suspect was the victim's motorcycle without plate number.
Macalandap will face charges for violating the Presidential Decree No. 1612 or the Anti-Fencing Law.
