No suspension of flights at Bicol International Airport due to rumbling Mayon – CAAP

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP)-Area 5 announced on Friday afternoon, June 9, that no flights have been cancelled at Bicol International Airport (BIA) amid the situation at Mayon Volcano.
"This is to inform the air riding public that, in so far as the status of Mayon Volcano is concerned which is under Alert Level No. 3, Bicol International Airport remains to be on normal operation. No flight cancellations have been declared," CAAP-Area 5 said in their official Facebook page.
CAAP told the riding public that any updates with regards to operations will be posted at their official Facebook page.
"We will give updates from time to time thru this platform for the benefit of the public especially for those who have scheduled flights. Thank you," CAAP added.
