Lotto ticket bought in Makati wins P15.8-M jackpot

A lone bettor from Makati hit the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth P15,840,000 on Thursday, June 8. The ticket purchased in Brgy. Comembo, Makati City, guessed the winning number combination 17-15-37-45-13-31 in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lotto draw. (PCSO)
PCSO reminded that in accordance with the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law, prizes P10,000 or more are subject to a 20 percent tax deduction.  Meanwhile, if the jackpot prize remains unclaimed, it will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund, as stated under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter. The next Mega Lotto 6/45 draw will be on June 9, along with the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and other digit games such as 2D Lotto and 3D Lotto. (Sonny Daanoy)
