Laguna police provincial director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio identified the suspect as alias “Anson,” a resident of Pasay City, and a member of Alipon Criminal Group.

Siniloan, Laguna police chief Police Major Clemente Garcia said that a joint operation involving the Laguna Provincial Intelligence Team, Highway Patrol Team-Laguna, and Pasay City police was conducted to arrest the suspect by virtue of a warrant issued for the crime of carnapping (Republic Act 10883 or New-Anti Carnapping Act of 2016).

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Philip Acosta Aguinaldo, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court (RTC), National Capital Region (NCR) Branch 207, in Muntinlupa City. The recommended bail is P300,000.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Siniloan Municipal Police Station for proper documentation while the police are coordinating with the court that issued the warrant of arrest.

Silvio said that “with the cooperation of the people with our police forces, those who hide from the law, whether inside or outside the province, are caught quickly.”

“You can hope that the Laguna PNP will not stop arresting the wanted persons who are hiding from the law and will make sure to suppress criminality in the entire province of Laguna for the attainment of a peaceful and prosperous Laguna,” he added.
