'Legit Dabarkads' weigh in on issues surrounding their former show
Wally Bayola, Maine Mendoza, Ryan Agoncillo, and Allan K. recently opened up about the various issues relating "Eat Bulaga!"
Recall that they are all joining Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon on TV5.
In an interview with MJ Marfori, Allan K. admitted they're looking forward to a "better future" on TV5.
He corrected rumors that was thinking of actually staying with TAPE Inc..
"I was born in the year of the dog so I have this sense of loyalty. Kung saan pupunta yung boss, susunod ako with wagging tail pa," he quipped laughing, seemingly referring to the show's pillars Tito, Vic, and Joey.
As for Ryan, he shared how the past few months have been "quite challenging" for all the Dabarkads.
"We're just happy that we found a new home," he said.
With all that is happening, Ryan couldn't help but feel emotional.
"It feels like graduation. Kumbaga, you know, it's always bittersweet. Parting is always bittersweet, no matter what. Pero looking forward kaming lahat... We know how wonderful it is."
Meanwhile, in a separate interview with MJ, Wally related,
"Kung saan yung TVJ dun ako.".
Wally admitted that prior to them cutting ties with TAPE Inc. there were some changes in the company that included them suffering a pay cut.
"Akala ko 10% bawas, 30 pala," he said, basing his computation on his last salary as host of the show.
Maine, on her part, cleared that air about their mass resignation.
"Ever since naman one for all, all for one na talaga kami. So para sa amin, pointless kung wala yung TVJ and then we will continue with the show. So kung saan sila dun talaga kami," she said. "And they didn't even talk to us about it o 'Kung saan kami, dun kayo.' They didn't force us at all. Lahat kami desisyon talaga namin yun, wala sa amin ang pinilit."
