Kasi may mga evacuation centers na kulang talaga sa CRs (Barangay captains raised concern about the lack of comfort rooms. There are evacuation centers that do not have enough CRs)," Baldo said. Baldo said that he will discuss this issue with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian who is scheduled to visit Albay on Saturday, June 10. Camalig has 4,749 families or 18,184 individuals who need to be evacuated from four barangays in the PDZ. It has the most number of residents living inside the PDZ and they will be taken to evacuation centers in Barangays Comun, Baligang, and Cotmon. Baldo said they will also request for tents from Gatchalian. We will ask for tents from Secretary Gatchalian). These tents will be placed outside to avoid congestion inside evacuation centers)," he said. Baldo said water is also a concern for evacuees since existing supplies are not enough for their consumption. Ang problema talaga natin ay ‘yung Barangay Anoling kasi nasa taas ‘yun (Water is one of our concerns although we have supply. We are seeking additional supply. We are concerned for Barangay Anoling which is near the top of Mayon)," he added. Baldo is seeking help from different agencies or organizations for water supply and tents for evacuees.
