Altas shoot down Knights to seal top spot; NU downs FEU

The Knights ended the first half with a three-point lead but the Altas shifted the momentum with a 14-0 burst midway in the third to turn the tables around and keep a seven-point advantage entering the final frame. Letran cut the deficit to just two points, 64-62, but Perpetual blasted off with a searing 11-0 run in the waning minutes to seal the game. The Altas were powered by Arthur Roque's 19 points and nine rebounds while Jielo Razon had 19 points, three rebounds and two assists as the Altas clinched the No. 1 spot at 7-2 in Bracket II of the tournament. Kurt Reyson lifted Letran as he exploded with 24 points in a losing effort as his team wound up to second place at 6-3.  Meanwhile, National University extended its winning streak to four after shooting down Far East University, 73-67. Steve Nash Enriquez and J.K Figueroa both had 11 points for the Bulldogs who improved to 7-2 at third spot while Mouhamed Faty and Rojan Montemayor had 14 points apiece to anchor FEU which slid to 5-4 at fourth place.  Theo Pabico and Agem Miranda conspired on the offensive end as Jose Rizal University kept Arellano University winless with a 78-65 victory. Pabico notched 14 points while Miranda added 12 points and eight rebounds to extend the Bombers' winning streak to four. In the final game, Ateneo defeated St. Clare College, 57-52.
