9 students in Iloilo catch Covid

ILOILO CITY – Nine students from a school in Estancia town, Iloilo province have contracted Covid-19. Dr. Maria Socorro Colmenares-Quiñon, chief the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO), said these students tested positive in a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). A student initially tested positive for Covid and 42 others underwent testing after they were identified as close contacts. Nine of them turned out positive for the disease. Quiñon said 33 students tested negative and were sent home. The nine students remain in the isolation facility managed by the Estancia local government.
