BAGUIO CITY – Fifty police officers from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera recently completed a Police Explosive Reconnaissance Course (PERC).
Graduates received certificates of completion from Police Col. Francisco Bulwayan Jr., Baguio City Police Office chief, in the closing ceremony at Bakakeng Central Multi-Purpose Basketball Court on the Ben Palispis Highway here on Thursday, June 8.

The 15-day training that sought to equip police officers with knowledge and competency involved military explosive ordnance, detection, identification, explosive-related incident investigation and target analysis, techniques, searching methods, and the do’s and don’ts in dealing with a bomb threat incident.
Bulwayan said that the knowledge and skills that the participants learned during their training will serve its purpose.
"The knowledge that we possess is one of our most important assets, so we cannot afford to be complacent. Let us never stop ourselves from learning and upgrading, not only for our personal consumption but for the betterment of the community we are serving and protecting," he added.
