Following his pageant journey, Andre Cue says he would love to focus on show business this time.

Andre, who turns 20 on June 9, says that he's focused on self-improvement as he joins the entertainment industry soon.

"I'm going back to school. But at the same time, I will pursue a career in showbiz," Andre adds.

This was confirmed by his mom Mags Cue, former chairman of the Mutya ng Pilipinas beauty pageant.

"He's joining showbiz but at the moment we are still negotiating. Secret muna kung saan pero it's a very reliable and huge network. Hopefully, matuloy this year. We're preparing now. Gusto ko pagpasok niya sa showbiz, dapat ready na siya sa lahat," said Mags.

Asked about his thoughts on bashers, Andre answers: "I'm not bothered by bashers. I just ignore them."

Andre says he's not planning to join any male pageant again. In August 2022, Andre became the first Asian candidate in Caballero Universal in Venezuela where he won the best body special award. He also landed in the semis of the competition.

"Huwag sanang lumaki ang ulo niya. Stay nice and humble all the time, Mags says.

On his wish for his birthday, Andre prays to have a business of his own. "It could be in fashion or food and beverage."

Mags also made a wish for her son on his birthday.

"Sana lumago ang kanyang career at sana, along tangkilikin at mahalin pa siya ng mga tao," she says.

Mags and her son graced the opening of the LVNA By Drake Fine Diamond Jewelry at the Shangri-la Mall in Mandaluyong City.

The career mom says she also invests in jewelry. "When they asked me to promote Luna, hindi na kami nagdalawang isip. Luna is one of the best pieces of jewelry."

Mags reveals that her most memorable piece of jewelry in possession was a gift from her husband. "Siya ang pumili noon para sa akin. Ang jewelry naman is forever."
