Three wanted persons were arrested in separate operations conducted by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Sections of the Las Piñas and Pasay Police.
Brig. Gen. Kirby John Brion Kraft, Southern Police District (SPD) director, identified the arrested suspects as Rizza Sta. Maria, 31; Eduardo
Salindayao, 56, alias “Bossing," and Ronald Allan Enciso, 43.
Col. Froilan Uy, Pasay city police chief, said Sta. Maria was listed as the second most wanted person in Imus, Cavite for violation of the "New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016."
Uy said the suspect was arrested at around 11:00 a.m. on Saint Catherine Street in Maricaban, Pasay City on Tuesday, June 6.
The WSS team arrested Sta. Maria by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Emmanuel Salinas Ocsing of the Imus Cavite Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 120 on April 18, 2023 with ₱300,000 recommended bail.
Enciso, tagged as the Top 10 most wanted by police, was arrested at around 3:00 p.m. on Pasadena Street in Pasay City.
Uy said a warrant of arrest for the crime of acts of lasciviousness was issued against Enciso by Judge Jehan Batua Sampao-Hassiman of the Pasay RTC, Family Court Branch 11 on May 31, 2023, with a recommended bail of P180,000.
Meanwhile Las Piñas Police Chief Col. Jaime Santos said Salindayao, the fourth most wanted person in the city for violation of illegal possession of drugs, was arrested at around 1:00 p.m. on Coconut Drive in Barangay CAA.
Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of the Las Piñas RTC Branch 200 issued a warrant of arrest against Salindayao on June 1, 2023 for service of sentence.
