Veteran television hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and other dabarkads of "Eat Bulaga" have finally found a new home in TV5 after they signed an agreement with MediaQuest Group, it was announced on Wednesday, June 7.
"I'm happy that Tito, Vic, and Joey will now be part of TV5, our new home," said Jane Basas, the President and CEO of Mediaquest, in a statement.
Basas added: "I'm honored that these pillars of the Philippine entertainment industry have chosen to collaborate with us. Our partnership enhances our ability to provide the best entertainment for Filipino viewers in the country and around the globe."
Earlier, it was announced that TVJ will announce their new home after they left GMA Network. But the veteran showbiz personalities said that they will air live in July.
TVJ and other members of thew show bid goodbye to their legions of fans on GMA Network on May 31 following issues with the new management of TAPE Inc., producer of the longest-running noontime program.
Netizens guessed that the original members of "Eat Bulaga" will transfer to TV5 after De Leon wrote a caption on Instagram, saying "take five."
No details were released on the timeslot of the noontime show on the Kapatid network.
