Rider shot dead by riding-in tandem in Laguna

NAGCARLAN, Laguna â€“ A motorcycle-riding man was gunned down by unidentified riding-in-tandem assailants on Tuesday afternoon, June 6, in Barangay Calumpang in this town. The Nagcarlan police identified the victim as Arjay Brondia. The victim was going to the town proper in Nagcarlan at around 2:20 p.m. when the riding-in-tandem appeared from behind and shot him several times. Police said the suspects escaped towards Santa Cruz town direction. The victim was brought to Nagcarlan District Hospital but was pronounced dead.
