Quezon City is now under a “low risk” category for Covid-19, said OCTA Research Fellow Dr. Guido David on Wednesday morning, June 7.
In an update posted on Twitter, David noted that the Quezon City’s positivity rate decreased from 22.2 percent to 17.3 percent on June 6.
Likewise, hospital bed occupancy decreased from 35 percent to 33 percent during the same period.

The Department of Health reported 676 new cases, five deaths, 1,483 recoveries, and 12,431 active cases in the country on June 6. Of the fresh cases, 171 were in Metro Manila. David projected that the country may record 900 to 1,000 new Covid-19 new cases on June 7. (Rhowen Del Rosario)
