PRO-13 forms inspection teams to ensure operational readiness of Caraga police units
CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 (PRO-13) has organized “Red Teams” to ensure the operational readiness of all police units in the five provinces and six cities in the Caraga region.
These Red Teams are comprised of the PRO-13 command group, regional staff, and personnel staff.
"This is to determine the operational capability of our police officers and identify the areas that need to be improved, especially in terms of our personnel and logistical resources," PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II said.
PRO-13 Deputy Regional Director for Administration Police Brig. Gen. Roderick D. Mariano was designated as area supervisor in the provinces of Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands while Police Col. Michael F. Lebanan, deputy regional director for operations, will oversee police in Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Sur.
Police Col. Joselito L. Clarito, chief of the regional staff, will see Agusan del Norte and Butuan City.
During inspections, area supervisors and Red Team supervisors will be accompanied by select personnel in operations, intelligence, investigation, and police-community relations with experience in managing past events, Labra said.
“Among the activities include camp defense drills and simulation exercises in different scenarios,” Labra said.
“We strive to address the needs of personnel and police units, through red teaming activities, for the betterment of the services we give to the peoople," he said.
