As part of the 50th anniversary of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), its Ilocos Region office (PRC RO I) took an online assessment facilitated by Civil Service Commission RO1 (CSC RO1) on May 29.
PRC RO I Regional Director Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo said on the PRC official Facebook page on Wednesday, June 7, that the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) is part of enhancing human resource management (HRM) in the "pursuit of excellence."
The online assessment aimed to evaluate the performance of PRC RO I in the four core areas of human resources management namely, recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management, and rewards and recognition.
Thus, as part of the assessment, Regional Office 1 personnel underwent in formulating an action plan, which contained “human resource management gaps and possible interventions to enhance the current system and to improve the delivery of service.”
Meanwhile, Sacay-Sabelo expressed gratitude toward the CSC RO1 via their regional director, Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal, for granting her request on the PRIME-HRM.
Lardizabal praised PRC RO I for its “initiative in participating in the CSC’s flagship program which aimed at benefiting not only PRC officials and employees but also their clients.” (Sonny Daanoy)
