Mandatory wearing of face mask back in Tuguegarao City amid rising Covid-19 cases
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A mandatory wearing of face mask is now being implemented anew here amid rising number of Covid-19 infections.
Aside from that, Mayor Maila Ting-Que has also ordered the public to follow the minimum health protocols throughout this city.
She said that the local health board has come out with a resolution mandating the use of face masks and other necessary protocols for indoors and public enclosed areas.
These include malls, grocery stores, cinemas, schools, and government offices.
The mayor noted the alarming death rate, specifically among the unvaccinated or those with incomplete vaccination.
She said the order starts on Wednesday, June 7, and will last until next Wednesday, June 21.
The order may be extended, depending on the updates of the City Health Office.
CHO is open for walk-in vaccinations and they are open from Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
