A 40-year-old man, tagged by the police as a high-value individual, was arrested in a "shabu" buy-bust operation in Taguig on June 6.Â
The Taguig Police said the suspect, Bhots Sangeban, was nabbed by operatives of the Drug Enforcement Unit at a parking lot of the Sunshine Mall in Barangay Western Bicutan at about 3:30 p.m.Â

During the operation, authorities recovered one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing 50 grams with a value of P340,000, and buy-bust money consisting of a real P1,000 bill on top of 79 pieces of P1,000 boodle money.  Major General Edgar Alan Okubo of the National Capital Region Police Office commended the Taguig Police for the operation.
