Central Luzon police seize P51-M worth of illegal drugs in more than 3 months
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A total of P51-million worth of illegal drugs were seized in Central Luzon in over three months.
Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose S Hidalgo Jr. reported on Tuesday, June 6, that a total of 1,684 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted from Feb. 23 to June 4, 2023.
The police also arrested 2,409 individuals and confiscation of 7,480.67 grams of shabu with Dangerous Drug Board value of P50,868,602.24.
The Central Luzon police also confiscated 6,138.23 grams of marijuana amounting to P736,587.95, 19 tablets of Ecstasy, 50 assorted firearms, and six explosives.
Hidalgo said police units in the region will continue their relentless campaign against the proliferation of illegal drugs to achieve drug-free communities.
